Happy New Year
This year is off to a great start. I have set a couple of goals for my self this year. The first one is to learn to take better photos of my jewelry. The second is to do more bead embroidery designs with histology as the inspirations. So, on the road to better photography, I have 30 day challenge ahead. Each day I will be trying something new with my photography. I will be starting and ending with a self-portrait. Here are my first pictures. In the top picture I am wearing my necklace made with black onyx rounds and Swarovski 4mm jet bicones in a flat Russian spiral. In the bottom picture I am wearing a necklace made with purple 4x4 cubes and pink Swarovski 4mm bicones in a double spiral pattern.

For Him or Her
I have been busy filling orders from the NSH meeting in Providence. However, I did find time to be inspired.
One of my histology friends wanted me to make some cuff links. Here is my first attempt and of course, since he is a histologist, I had to use amethyst stones.
Also, had a great time at bead group today. Our group of beaders are so awesome. They challenge me, inspire me and support me in my endeavor to be better. .

Grandmama has been hard at work!
My granddaughter wanted PJ's made out of this neon zebra print fabric. I had a great time making them for her. I also make a hat to go with them but she didn't want to model it. She is such a doll. I am so very blessed to have her in my life. Time to get back to beading now that this project is behind me.

Just a little diversion!
I made two of these table covers for my daughter-in-law to use when she has parties. The first party will be my granddaughters 7th birthday at the end of April. I didn't have any kind of pattern so I had to design it as I went. Five rows of ruffles around a 6 foot table was quite a lot of fabric to deal with. They turned out pretty good. However, I am ready to get back to beading, though.

Spiral Fun
Spirals everywhere! This spiral rope uses purple 4 x 4 cubes, size 6 lavender core beads and size 11 teal accent seed beads to demonstrate the colors in the GMS Fungi Stasin for Candida Albicans, Candida Albicans is a fungal infection caused by yeast. The colors are so pretty together.

I love love the spiral rope!
This my my HP Blue for Helicobacter.
I just love love the spiral rope. This one is made using blue 4 X 4 cubes and size 11 green seed beads with size 6 white core seed beads. It demonstrates the colors from the HP Blue stains very well. Helicobacter is bacterium that is the major cause of peptic ulcers.
