June 18 & 19th, 2011

Well, this weekend was not nearly as much fun as last weekend. I had to bead alone. As you can see, I was able to accomplish quite a lot. I completed two new necklace, the Steiner and the Trichrome. I am particularly please with the Trichrome. The colors are so very vibrant. The 12mm twisted bulge beads used in it made it come together very easily.

My sister, Linda is coming to visit this week so we can go to a bead show and take a class together to make a Patterned Wire Cuff. So, I am going to "slide" into the weekend by starting some projects early. The process of designing a piece of jewelry can take many twists and turns. Frequently, the final design is determined by the components I have on hand. I try to keep a farily large supply of beads and findings but it seems like I am constantly in need of something more. Therefore with a bead show coming to town, I need to line up my projects ahead of time. Maybe for once I can have a complete shopping list with me when we go to the show. Have a good weekand keep looking for your inspiration.
